I was born and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA, and I went to Catholic school from Kindergarten to 12th grade. In 2018, I graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's in special education. Soon after graduation, I moved to Nashville to start my teaching career in public schools. During my first year of teaching, I reflected on my education in Catholic schools, and I felt called to make the move to work in a Catholic school, so in 2019, I joined the St. Edwards team!

It has truly been a blessing to be able to actively live out and share my faith with my students. Being the learning specialist provides me with the opportunity to get to know the students in a different and smaller setting, which I truly cherish. In June of 2021, I began a program to become a certified academic language therapist, which means I am working to become even more specialized in teaching students how to read, and I am excited to share the knowledge I am gaining with the students at St. Edward!
