BIO

I have taught music in the Diocese of Nashville since 2007, first at St. Joseph School and now at St. Edward School.  I earned my Bachelor's in Musical Arts from Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music and my Master's in Education from Vanderbilt University's Peabody College, currently ranked fourth among graduate education schools in the United States.  I am a classically trained singer and have been active in musical theatre since childhood, performing in over 30 shows.  I am married to an internationally acclaimed composer, Michael Kurek, and I enjoy baking, reading, and watching old movies in my spare time.
