Kindergarten

I always wanted to be a teacher when I was growing up! I feel so fortunate to have taught 22.5 years at St. Edward. I taught 3rd grade for 10.5 years before moving to kindergarten where I have stayed for the last 12 years.

I attended St. Edward for eight years and graduated in 1991 and Father Ryan High School in 1995. I have an early childhood degree from MTSU, and I always keep up with the best teaching practices by attending conferences and webinars. In addition, I have been taking online classes and making things for our classroom most of the summer!

I am married to John, and we have a second grader at SES and a senior in high school who attended St. Edward for 10 years. We enjoy the outdoors, camping at the lake, swimming, autocross racing, car shows, riding offroad, reading books, cooking, and crafting. We love to watch our son race his Corvette in autocross races!

I am very passionate about teaching. I enjoy using technology on our Clear Touch and hands-on materials all day! We do science experiments and STEM projects that build our minds' creativity. I love using songs and movement to get the children excited about learning. One of my goals is to make learning fun!
