BIO

I grew up in Santa Claus, IN where I spent many summers working at Holiday World! I graduated in 1987 from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN with a bachelor of science degree in elementary e,ducation (1-8) and a Kindergarten minor.

 

My teaching experience includes positions at Sacred Heart School and Overbrook School. I am beginning my 17th year at St. Edward and I am currently the librarian and teach 8th grade literature. 

 

My husband, Tom and I have three daughters, a son-in-law, and two precious grandsons, Laura, Andrew, Wren, and Hank, Emily, and Caroline. I enjoy walking, biking, reading, cooking, Nashville Predators hockey, and Notre Dame football. I feel blessed to be at St. Edward School, it is truly a vocation! My goal each day is to share J.O.Y. with my students! 

 

Fun Fact... Mr. Herman, our 2nd grade teacher is my son-in-law and Mrs. Stockdale, our Jr. High Math teacher, and I have been best friends since 3rd grade! It is an extra blessing to share my days at St. Edward with them and our wonderful faith community.
