I was born in Michigan and moved to Tennessee in 1993 with my immediate family. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a Sociology minor from MTSU. I planned on attending law school but instead embarked on a 26-year career as a paralegal. I met my husband, Yogi, in Franklin, and we have been married since 1995. After 26 years in the legal field, I began searching for a new career path.

I pivoted to a career in health and wellness and became a certified life coach focusing on physical well-being. I am excited that God has called me to share my love of fitness as the PE Teacher. I have seen firsthand how physical wellness improves the quality of overall health.

Yogi and I love to camp, ride bikes, kayak, and spend time with family, friends, and our two pups, Virgil and Sunnie. I walk almost every day with Virgil. I also incorporate other workouts into my daily movement practice, including weights, spinning, stretching, and strength training.

I am so thankful God has brought this teaching opportunity into my life, and I look forward to being a part of the teaching team. I am so grateful to be a part of this St. Edward community!
