Emma Terry

PREK-4 TEACHER

I grew up going to Catholic schools in Nashville, but I never imagined I would work as an educator in a Catholic school. It’s funny how God opens doors you never thought to open. My background is in Communication Studies, and I graduated in 2020 from Samford University with a BS in this area of study. Currently, I am enrolled in a Masters of Elementary Education program through Western Governors University.

I always knew working with children is something I was passionate about, and after prayer and soul-searching during the early months of the pandemic, I explored my options at St. Edward. I joined the Pre-K team in August 2021 as an Instructional Aide. I am ecstatic to return to the school as the Pre K-4 lead teacher.

I enjoy walking, baking, spending time with family and friends, as well as playing with my adorable dog, London. I’m excited to see familiar faces and meet new families in our special community. Go, Saints!
